Trustee Spotlight: Lisa Brodeth Carrick
Lisa Brodeth Carrick, secretary for CASA of NJ’s board of trustees, serves as a member of the Executive and Governance Committees.
Lisa joined the CASA of NJ board in 2017. Our organization’s goal of providing an advocate for children who have been removed from their families because of abuse or neglect was personal and relevant to her. She says, "As a young girl, my sisters and I would have benefited by having a CASA. We would have been considered vulnerable children, and if we had someone speaking up for our best interests in court and in the community, our lives may have been different."
Lisa’s commitment to helping others is evident in her involvement with several non-profit organizations, including the JBJ Soul Foundation, and in her role as the Human Resources Director for Family and Children’s Service in Monmouth County. Lisa notes that being an active part of the solution in her community makes her feel like she is helping to make a difference. She is!
CASA of New Jersey is proud of the trustees who volunteer their time to serve our organization by providing oversight of our activities. We thank Lisa for her dedication and commitment to providing advocacy for New Jersey’s children in foster care.
Trustee Spotlight: Greg P. Francfort
Greg P. Francfort, a graduate of Rutgers University and the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, is designated as a Loyal Son of Rutgers.
Greg is fortunate to be able to say that his greatest advantage in life was to be raised in a home where he felt loved. He notes that it is an "honor to work with CASA of New Jersey in the pursuit of the noble mission of providing this advantage to every child in the state."
CASA of NJ trustees generously volunteer their time and talent to guide our organization by providing oversight of our organization’s many activities. We thank Greg for his dedication and commitment to providing advocacy for New Jersey’s children in foster care.
